Summer Sunday School
The Summer Sunday School classes at the
Center Barnstead Christian
Church are in full swing now. There are still many more
weeks left, so if you haven't joined us yet, please consider
doing so. Here is a review of the three classes being
offered:
The first one is for kids ages 4 through
the 6th grade. This class is being taught by Dawn
Trask (our Sunday School program director). The theme is:
"The 7 Bee's". During this time the kids are learning about
a different "Bee" from God's Word they need to BEEcome to
BEE more like Jesus. Come! See what it means to "BEE" on the
lookout! There will be a story time, activities and crafts
for the kids to be involved with. A nursery will be provided
for children younger than 4 years old.
The other two classes are for the teens
and adults taught by Charlie and PJ Bolstridge. Charlie will
be teaching a teen and adult class on the lives of some Old
Testament prophets, beginning with Samuel. You will discover
what characteristics these men had, that we should have, so
that we too may be used by God. PJ is teaching a class for
the ladies and teen girls. She's teaching a study going
through the book, "Created to be his Help Meet" by Debi
Pearl. This book discovers the ways God can make your
marriage glorious. Somewhere over the passing years and
changing culture, women have lost their way. This book is
written to lead them back home. Regardless how you began
your marriage or how dark and lonely the path that has
brought you to where you are now, it is possible today to
have a marriage so good and so fulfilling that it can only
be explained as a miracle. This study, also, follows the
Titus 2 mandate where God commands the aged women to teach
the younger women, and is filled with wisdom gleaned from
personal stories and the Word of God.
Come and bring your family! Remember,
these programs will continue throughout the summer every
Sunday morning from 9:30 A.M.-10:15 A.M. until August 24th.

Barnstead Christian Church
