have for the whole family this year.
Following the Morning Service we will be having a

Cub Scout Pack 43
Fall is almost here, time to get rolling on our 2008-09
Cub Scout Year once again. Barnstead Cub Scout Pack 43
will be holding its annual signups on the night of the
Barnstead Elementary School Open House, September 11th
at 6:00 pm.
Boys in grades 1 through 5 are eligible. This year we
are hoping to grow our pack bigger and better than ever.
We also welcome a new Cubmaster, Jim Williams, who is in
fact one of Barnstead’s own Eagle Scouts.
Our pack meetings are held the third Tuesday of every
month at the Barnstead Parade Fire Station, 6:30-7:30
pm. We are already planning our Apple Picking adventure
at Meadow Ledge Farms in Loudon on the first Sunday of
October. Membership Fees are $5 per month and this
includes books, achievements, outings, and a
subscription to Boys Life magazine. We do encourage but,
not require the 8 month membership to be paid in advance
as a total of $40 for single boy, $60 for two, and not
to exceed $80 if by chance you may have three or more
scouts registering at once.
Other Pack news is the Can Trailer which is still
active, although it has been hiding behind the Center
Barnstead Fire Station. Sorry for this inconvenience. We
hope to put it back very shortly. Our Popcorn sales are
currently under way and boys who are already scouts may
also pick up their sales packets on the Open House
night.
