Hall at 6:00 PM for a Pot Luck Supper; 7:00 PM meeting and election of

Planet
Earth is being sterilized by the way we eat. Our staple foods are made
from annual crops (grains, corn, soy, rice, etc.) that are killing
ecosystems everywhere. A course in “restorative agriculture” and an
ongoing “hands-on” form of perennial fooding is being offered. You are
invited to participate. Please call 603-776-7776 for more information.
The
Missions Committee of the Barnstead Parade Congregational Church will be
holding their 33rd Annual Fall Fair at the Church on the Parade Grounds
on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 9 AM to 1 PM. There will be a craft
table, a Christmas corner, a “kids” shopping table, new items for the
Bottom Drawer and a food table with home baked goodies and homemade jams
and jellies. We will have coffee and homemade donuts for sale, also,
sandwiches and homemade corn chowder for lunch. This fair helps benefit
our Mission Projects.
Pumpkin &
Pine Fair
Save
Saturday, November 2nd for a charming, country church fair. There will
be fun, food and treasures at the Congregational Church of North
Barnstead. Bring family and friends, jump start your holiday list with
unique gifts, and join with others for a delicious lunch in the café.
Credit cards are accepted.
The fair
has many favorite features including jewelry, collectibles, baked goods,
holiday crafts, games and toys for kids, and handmade items from Ghana.
This year the kitchen display will be full of homemade jams, relishes
and for our first year, canned tomatoes. Want a unique and colorful
gift? The table with handmade accessories and jewelry from Ghana is one
of a kind!
The silent
auction is always a popular part of the fair. This year there is a
Samsung Galaxy Tablet 3, lovely art including a pen and ink by Clare
Bolster, seasonal decorative items, antiques and more. The list goes
on, there are over 70 items. Come see for yourself and go home with a
treasure.
The Pumpkin
& Pine Fair will be held between 9 am and 2 pm at the Congregational
Church of North Barnstead. It is located at 504 North Barnstead Road in
Barnstead. Just follow the signs!
