Chichester Historical Society
Looking for a fun family activity? The Chichester Historical will have a
Holiday Open House at the museum on Sunday, December 6th from 2 to 4 p.m.
Set up especially for holiday viewing will be our exhibit “Small
Structures.” Remember that Fisher Price house and barn? What about Barbie’s
house? Love those Lincoln logs? What did you build? Do you have a treasured
dollhouse? These are a few of the “structures” on display for this
kid-friendly exhibit.
Children are encouraged to bring a drawing of their house or other
structure. We’ll display them at the museum during the Open House. Art
supplies will be available.
Cookies and punch will be served. All are welcome. Plan to put this
December 6th Open House on your calendar.

Letter
Six weeks ago, I was driving in the slow lane on Rt. 4, when something
that none of us think will ever happen to us, did happen; a car crossed two
lanes and hit me head-on.
God spared my life (with some help from my air bag & seat belt) that
Friday evening. However, since then there are so many more who have helped
my recovery! Thank you to you who: made the rescue call, helped at the
scene and the trauma center, visited and called, sent gifts, cards and food,
walked our dog, raked our leaves, pushed me around, drove me to
appointments, entertained me and made me laugh, visited me on Face Book and
sent me your positive thoughts and prayers.
This Thanksgiving, Doug, Irene (and Jake) celebrate our health and the
kind acts of our wonderful neighbors and our community. Thank you.
Gratefully and respectfully yours,
(Rep.) Sally Kelly
Bee Hole Beavers Snowmobile Club

The Bee Hole Beavers Snowmobile Club is made up of riders from the
Chichester and Loudon area.
Our Club has met 3 times so far in the 2009-2010 year. The following
persons have been elected to office for the coming year: Jack Earle,
President; Bill Lane, Vice President; Elgie Goodwin, Secretary/Treasurer;
Larry Ricker, Trail Administrator; Paul Sanborn, Trail Master; Paul Sanborn,
Website Manager.
We have received word that we were awarded State
grants for a “new” Skandic grooming machine, as well as for some trail work.
With the delivery of the new Skandic, this brings us to four machines with
which to maintain our trail system.
Various members have been
diligently working on the trail which was negotiated to restore the Corridor
15 connection crossing State Route 129 in Loudon. A new bridge is in
progress further east on Corridor 15, to replace a culvert that the Town of
Loudon was required by FEMA to remove. Those of you who used our system last
year hopefully noticed a vast improvement in conditions over previous years,
and we are striving to make them even better this year. We are still trying
to work out the logistics for a bridge which will restore the connection
between our trails and the Suncook Valley Sno-Riders trails in the area of
State Highway Route 28.
The Club has experienced an increase in
membership requests, and has had several well attended work details.
If you would like any information about our Club or trails system, please
visit our website, and use our contacts page if we can assist you in any
way.
