The Chichester Youth Association invites you to their annual
Valentine’s Day Dance featuring “The Shana Stack Band.” The dance
will be held at the Concord Lodge of Elks in Epsom on Saturday,
February 9th, from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. Come for a
great night of dancing and socializing.
There will be appetizers and raffles to round out a great night of
fun. For Tickets please contact Tammy or Joe Montambeault at

Shana Stack Band,” as they have opened for many famous country music
stars and have a large following, so mark your calendar and call
soon for tickets.
Happy Birthday to Kelly Brudniak on January 19 and Aja Davison on
January 23.
Chichester Town Library
Learn All About Your Town
Whether you’re a new resident to Chichester or have
been here for years, we hope you will join us at the Grange Hall at
132 Main St. on Wednesday, January 23rd at 7:00. This program was
put together by the Chichester Town Library and the Chichester
Grange. Bring your questions about our town government and other
matters or submit them in advance via email to
[email protected]. Refreshments will be
served.
It’s time to start making Valentines for our troops. The library
will have lots of valentine card making material available on
Saturday morning, January 26th, but if you cannot make it in that
day, you could make a Valentine at home and bring them into the
library by Monday, February 2nd. This year we would like to honor
some of our older veterans. Our cards and gifts will go to Liberty
House in Manchester, which is a homeless shelter for veterans, as
well as soldiers serving in oversea conflicts.
Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop News

The two people who took over for Bonnie are Sylvia and Zeb. You can
check the list of the complete Board of Directors on the Attic
bulletin board or on the website.
So, the good news is we get to carry on the work at the Attic. Just
a small example of good done in December; we sent over 50 pieces of
clothes to a shelter in Concord. We also sent five winter men’s
jackets and many hats, gloves and mittens to the homeless shelter.
We do need to remind people not to leave tubs or bags outside when
we’re not open. There were four tubs of items left under the eves on
a Friday when we are closed. On Saturday, the sun melted the snow
on the roof and the items in the tubs had water damage. That is
surely not what the donor had intended.
The Christmas items have been put away and replaced with Valentine
treasurers, including some lovely necklaces.
Come see what we have to offer on Mon. 8-12 (we will be open on the
21st, MLK Day) Tues. and Thurs. 8-4; Wed. 11-4; Sat. 10-4. Our
phone number is 247-7191.
