Chichester is hosting the major baseball tournament Wednesday June
8th through Monday June 13th. The Chichester Youth Association needs
help with snack shack coverage, official scorekeepers, and field

Congratulations to Alexander R. Camerino
of Chichester. Camerino is a member of the Class of 2016 at St.
Lawrence University and majored in environmental studies-geology.
Camerino received the degree of bachelor of science. Camerino
graduated from The Derryfield School.
The Pittsfield High School Class Of 1966 50th Class Reunion
will be held in the Pittsfield Congregational Church vestry on July
23rd from 3-6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. If you can

The Epsom-Chichester Lions Club invite you to a really fun
fundraiser, a MINI-GOLF TOURNAMENT, at Chucksters on Rt. 4 on June
18th starting at 9:30am We are setting up teams of 4-5 people
for the competition with great prizes for hole-in-one winners. There
will be additional raffles and FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks for

Free, we have available several packages of “Sleep Overs” by Cuties,
comfort of real underwear for boys and girls 85-140 lbs.
Please call or stop by if you can find someone who can use them.
Someone left a sink and toilet at The Attic. We do not accept
bathroom fixtures. Now we have to pay to dispose of it.
Please, never do that again.

The Knitting Group will be meeting this
afternoon at 3:30 p.m., as it does every Wednesday afternoon.
Story & Craft Hour for preschoolers and
kindergarteners is tomorrow, June 9th, at 10:30 a.m.
June’s Down Cellar Used Book Sale is
scheduled for Saturday, June 11th, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Board of Trustees will be meeting on
Monday, June 13th at 4 p.m.
The adult and teen Craft Group is meeting on Monday, June 13th at
6:30 p.m. and will be working on a beading project. Although
this particular session is already filled to capacity, crafters may
want to ensure they “join” this group to be able to take advantage
of all that they do.
A few of the newly purchased, non-fiction books include: The
Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business, by
Charles Duhigg; The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration
into the Wonder of Consciousness, by Sy Montgomery; and The Index
Card: Why Personal Finance Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated, by
Helaine Olen and Harold Pollack. From management, to
psychology, to finance, these books all have great reviews and
should capture the interest of many readers.
At Chichester Town Hall on June 2
Chichester resident Doug Hall (right) filed as a Democratic
candidate for the NH House of Representatives. Joining him were
incumbent Democratic Representatives Dave Doherty and Dianne Schuett
of Pembroke. Doug was elected from the district and was a State
Representative for four terms, 1986-1993. He was a Republican at
that time but switched his party affiliation a few years ago.
District 20 of Merrimack County consists of the towns of Chichester
and Pembroke and elects three members of the 400 member House of
Representatives. The Party Primary Election is September 13 and the
General Election is November 8.
