Letter To The Editor Dear Editor,
I am writing to urge you to vote for my daughter, Katherine Rogers, for
Merrimack County Attorney.
Our family has lived in Merrimack County for over 80 years. I attended
school in Warner and then graduated from Concord High School. My husband Al,
and I lived in Pittsfield for a number of years before moving to Concord
where Katherine graduated from high School.
Katherine Rogers understands the problems facing Merrimack County and its
many towns. Not only does she live in Concord and have family throughout the
county. She has worked as a Prosecutor for the Town of Allenstown for the
last 6 years. The people in the towns and cities of Merrimack County are
familiar to her she understands the problems we all face every day.
Katherine wants to be a county attorney who works to prevent as well as
punish crime. She has plans for things such as an anti-truancy program and
neighborhood crime summits. Katherine will help us all to become engaged in
the war against crime.
Please join me in voting for my daughter, Katherine Rogers for Merrimack
County Attorney on November 4th.
Sincerely,
Alta W. Rogers

Letter Several area businesses are presently implementing a plan for a fitting
memorial for slain officers Jeremy Charron and Michael Briggs at the Epsom
Traffic Circle. All of the work and material has been 100% donation.
Pellettieri Associates of Warner came up with an outstanding design which
was approved by the State DOT and the Epsom Board of Selectmen and they will
oversee the design implementation. Millican Nurseries, Inc. is providing all
of the plant material and workers and equipment to plant and haul as needed.
Michael Sargent of the Northeast Garden Center in Chichester is providing
all the site work including placing the trees, hydroseeding and bark mulch.
Several Epsom landscapers and businesses are providing the fill, loam and
hauling. The work began recently, so people passing by should begin to see a
transformation of the circle in the next couple of weeks
We expect to complete the planting the beginning of November. If you would
like to see a copy of the design, please contact Greg Grigsby, LA, of
Pellettieri Associates of Warner 456-3678. If you would like further
information, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you.
