Philip “PJ” J. Gambale, Jr.

Gilmanton obit.jpg

Philip “PJ” J. Gambale, Jr. slipped the bonds of this wondrous Earth on Saturday, February 09, 2019 at the age of 25.  He has left behind a devastated family.

He is survived by his mother, Martine Laureyns, of Bow, NH; his father, Philip J. Gambale, Sr. of Wolfeboro, NH; his grandfather Rene Laureyns of Patchauge, NY;  his sisters, Marie Gambale of Gilmanton, NH and Suzanne Parnell (Gambale) of Merrimack, NH; his niece, Aubrey Bruneau; nephews, Carter Bruneau and Ryan Parnell, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandmothers Marcelle Laureyns (Riou) of Howell, NJ and Antoinetta Gambale (Diminico) and his grandfather, Felice (Phil) Gambale both from East Boston, MA.

PJ attended Hillsboro-Deering High School and graduated class of 2011.  He attended NHTI and took classes for Early Childhood Education.  He was a Customer Service Representative and the head cashier at Lowe's the last three years, earning praise and awards. PJ was also studying to earn his real estate license.  He was an avid sports fan always knowing player stats and standings for the Celtics, Red Sox and especially the victorious New England Patriots.  His passion was playing the guitar.  He played several instruments, which he self-taught: electric guitar, ukulele, bass, organ, really any instrument he could get his hands on.  He loved jamming with his friends, whether they were other musicians or Guitar Hero.  He is most loved for his goofy sense of humor.  He loved to make you laugh, almost any way he could whether it was his goofy smile or one-liners, he was spot on.  Most of all, he was beloved by his family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 158 Old W Hopkinton Road, Henniker, NH 03242, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11am. All are welcome to join the family for a reception following the funeral service in the Parrish hall at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. The burial will be in the spring at the family’s convenience.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to PJ Gambale Scholarship Fund at TD Bank.

Fond Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.bennettfuneral.com for the Gambale family. Arrangements are entrusted by Bennett Funeral Home.
