Pictured is Steven Davis, President of
the Pittsfield Youth Baseball
Association, handing a check to Larry
Berkson, co-chair of the committee in
charge of renovating and enlarging
Pittsfield Youth Athletic Park on Tilton
Hill Road. The check, in the amount of
$54,590, is from the Baseball Tomorrow
Fund, a cooperative effort of Major
League Baseball and the Players
Association. It will go a long way in
vastly improving the Park for the
children of Pittsfield. Importantly the
work will add a new Babe Ruth sized
diamond and greatly improve the three
existing fields. There will be a new
parking lot, handicap access and
restrooms. It is only with help from
such wonderful funds like Baseball
Tomorrow that we could ever dream of
such a large undertaking. Pictured in
the front row are PYBA players, Kim Cyr,
Noah Manteau, Katelynn Hunt, Eileen
Manteau, Patience Cyr and Connor Manteau.
Kneeling on the left is Buddy Bedell and
