Pittsfield Boy Scout Completes Eagle Project
Kyle Hamel recently completed his Eagle Scout Project.
Aiding Kyle in his efforts were from top left to right: Tucker
Wolfe, Kyle Hamel, Casey Wolfe; middle: Joel Harris and bottom left
to right: Dennis Volpe, Michael Wolfe, Brian Ward, Joseph Hamel and
Daniel Welch.
Recently, with the help of many friends, family and community
members, I was able to complete my Eagle project. This project was a
repair, and improvement of the small trail behind the elementary
school.
The trail went from being dirt, mud, and covered in trees and
branches to a wood chipped totally opened, bridged trail that is
available to all. There is an Amphitheater that the school teachers
can use with their classrooms. I also added three benches that
overlook the swamp and surrounding area.
I hope that everyone will enjoy this trail for many years to come. I
had a lot of fun with this project and it was a great opportunity.
Wood for the benches was donated by Barton Lumber; Thank You! Thank
you to everyone who helped or donated.
