Comedy Improv Returns To Northwood Theater Workshop
Comedy Improv returns to the Northwood Theater Workshop on Saturday,
April 25 at 8 p.m. with a show by “Random Acts Of Senseless
Theater.”
Specializing in “Whose Line” style shows, RANDOM ACTS performs
improvisational comedy based around a diverse list of both musical
and non-musical improv games in which the content is derived from
the audience’s written or shouted suggestions.
Made up of seasoned stage veterans, professional musicians and
actors, the troupe has been performing improv together since 2005,
usually to sold out audiences.
Tickets are $12 and can be reserved by calling NTW’s ticket line at (603) 339-2080. Reservations
are recommended. This is a BYOB event, and light snacks will be
available. Due to the unpredictable nature of comedy improv, this
show is recommended for mature audiences.
Northwood Theater Workshop is located in the Masonic Hall on Route 4

Northwood Food Pantry Reaches Out for Support
The Northwood
Emergency Food Pantry (NEFP) is reaching out to the community for
support due to the unusually high demand for food and related
supplies over this past winter. The food pantry been very busy over
the past year and is at a point of need for both food and monetary
donations. Many of the people who have been served include those who
are unemployed or recently lost a job, people with serious medical
problems, and people on fixed incomes unable to meet their basic
needs. Formed in the early 1980’s, the pantry has been able to
continue to provide this service due to the generous support of many
individuals and organizations throughout Northwood. At this time the
food pantry is seeking assistance so that the work of local food
distribution may continue. It has been the hope of NEFP that no
child or adult in the community would be without needed food or
basic health supplies. All donations, of any size, are greatly
appreciated. If you would like to donate food or a monetary
contribution to your local food pantry, please contact Food Pantry
Coordinator Pat Jacobsmeyer at
942-8912.
